Well it not a perfect strategy cus the way you describe it you have to first balance on that sword thing without getting shakin off then you have to stand on top of the leg braclet thing and thats not easy to do. I made a video in a hurry, looks awful, so I only posted the part with mid-section strategy. Again it takes practice, but with this info and the video, you can rest assured you can do it.

Jump to the back of his belt and go around for the vital, if you do it right you can do 5 full stabs uninterrupted, destroying the vital before Gaius finishes his move.Īfter this just follow the trophy guide video since from here on out is the same, only difference is that now instead of having just 2:00 minutes, your time should be 3:20 at least, that's over a minute of extra time you can use to finish this guy. Now here is the part that most of us mess up, instead of jumping on the belt right away, stay on the highest part of the bracelet, overlooking his back, until Gaius starts walking again, eventually he'll stop and begin the arm shake animation. If you see the video in the trophy guide you'll see that what comes next is a backward jump, personally I climb once more so the character is standing in the ledge rather than hanging from it, then I jump to Gaius bracelet. Stay on the sword, no matter how, until you get the chance to jump on his leg. If you fall off, don't worry, just retry. Make sure to avoid it and get ready to get on his sword. It will take some skill to do it, nothing too crazy, expect to fail a few times before getting all the parts of this strategy to work together, personally it took me less than an hour of trying it this way.Īs the battle begins go forward a bit and use the bow and arrow to goad Gaius to use his Downward Slash Attack. I advise to first watch the video on the trophy guide since I'll use it as reference. I found a way to successfully do it, no gimmicks, no need for luck or insane timing. The main issue with this fight is that the mid-section vital seems impossible to destroy fast enough due to how difficult is to attack it on PS3, but it's not the games fault, but ours. An example of songs meant to play one after another are Liberated Guardian (M13P) and A Despair-filled Farewell (M13B), which are mostly used for the smaller / faster Colossi.Like many I too had issues meeting the time attack requirement for this Colossus fight. Gatekeeper of the Castle Ruins (M15P / Music 15 Pinch) and Final Battle (M15B / Music 15 Battle) as according to the files, they were meant to be played one after another in a fight.

The colossus was likely able to walk since a remnant of its path data is listed in the PS3 sheets and wasn't a stationary boss like the 16th colossus, but other than that nothing else is known.Įvis was planned to be located at I1, behind the 15th colossus' arena but was likely not properly implemented in the world map due to the state of I1's model.

Using the representation of a human at the bottom of the sketch for scale, the boss was a tad higher than the 2nd colossus. Its sketch portrays the boss as a quadruped with several bone protrusions and slight humanoid proportions, however it's possible this design wasn't the final one. While it's not possible to determine how much progress in the programming department this colossus underwent, its unused texture segment found in the PS3 data sheets only lists two textures, meaning Evis' model was likely in a primitive state, possibly explaining why its in-game model wasn't shown off in the artbook.
